Fishin' with Special Friends

This is a tournament for our special friends who are disabled, that is an annual event to give them a day in sun, fish and have a GREAT TIME! Founded by Max Weavil and family in honor of their son, Max.

2024 Fishin' with Special Friends

One of the largest turnouts to date for Fishin’s with Special Friends.  Volunteers were eager to assist all of our friends that came out to enjoy a day of fishing and what a day it was.  Fish were plentiful and laughter and fun were abound.  Each participate was also gifted a family fishing pass to Johnnie Mercers Pier so they can keep fishing throughout the year.  Already looking forward to 2025.
